DAVIS, Calif. - Dahra Zamudio and Nicole Koehly won in the doubles red consolations finals match, as the UC Davis women's tennis team completed its competition at the Saint Mary's Invitational on Sunday.
Zamudio and Koehly downed Santa Clara's team of Zaniewski/Lamble, 8-5, to earn the consolation title in red doubles. Kelly Chui also had a singles win in the red singles consolation semifinals, defeating Cal's Stephany Chang, 7-5, 7-6 (2).
UC Davis will play in its final fall tournament next weekend when the Aggies travel to the ITA Northwest Regionals at Stanford on Oct. 21-25.
