Day Three Results

STANFORD, Calif. - Despite rainy weather continuing to disrupt play at the ITA Northwest Regional Championships, UC Davis women's tennis closed out their tournament, after competition in the doubles draw. Three teams for the Aggies were in play in the round of 16 Sunday, at Stanford, Calif.

After winning in the first two rounds, the three teams in play for UC Davis failed to advance to the quarter finals. The Curry/Edles combo was defeated by Stanford's team of Li/Tan, 8-3. Teams of Chui/Heneghan and Koehly/Zamudio also were halted in the round of 16, after losses to Saint Mary's team of Isip/Soper and Sacramento State's Delgado/Kapshai, respectively.

The completion of the ITA Regional also marks the end of the fall schedule for the Aggies. UC Davis will enjoy an extended break, before beginning competition on Jan. 22 vs. Iowa State in Temple, Ariz.
