DAVIS, Calif. - A number of Aggies were honored on Sunday as UC Davis held its annual end-of-year banquet. Various individual awards were handed out as well as Big West post-season hardware. In all, five student-athletes were recognized in seven different categories at the event.

"THE PRIDE OF THE ALUMNI AWARD"
Recipient: Mark Payne
In recognition of: The student-athlete who consistently demonstrates high character, work ethic, integrity and outstanding service

"THE HONORABLE GORDON S. BARANCO AWARD"
Recipient: Joe Harden
In recognition of: The student-athlete who consistently displays an outstanding work ethic and competitive level.

"THE BOB I. HAMILTON `MR. BASKETBALL' AWARD"
Recipient: Vince Oliver
In recognition of: The Aggie who embodies all characteristics of an outstanding student-athlete

"THE DR. DUANE A. KOUBA AWARD"
Recipient: Derek Oestreicher
In recognition of: The student-athlete who demonstrates academic excellence.
