Complete Oregon Duck Invitational Results in PDF Format 
JUNCTION CITY, Ore. - Senior Jessica Yam had her best round of the Oregon Duck Invitational on Tuesday, shooting a 3-over 75, and helping the UC Davis women's golf team maintain its position and finish fifth at the two-day tournament at the Shadow Hills Country Club.
Sophomores Alice Kim and Chelsea Stelzmiller each had 77's over the final round, each tying for 12th place at 12-over 228 for the Aggies' highest individual placings. Sophomore Katie Sisler tied for 31st, Yam tied for 36th and Brittany Smith tied for 45th. Kimberly Johnson, competing as an individual, tied for 55th.
San Francisco posted a 7-over 295 team score over the final 18 holes for a 15-shot win over host Oregon at 23-over 887. The Dons also claimed the medalist in Natasha Podmore who closed with a 75 for a 2-over total of 218, winning by two shots over teammate Danielle Cvitanov.
Oregon State was third while Missouri was fourth, 12 shots in front of UC Davis. The Aggies had their second-best round of the tournament with their 305, sparked by Yam who had her best round of the event by five strokes. She was playing just her second tournament in 2008-09.
Stelzmiller posted her seventh top-20 finish in seven events this season while Kim had her sixth. Smith had her best round of the week on Tuesday, shooting a 76 to finish just behind Yam for team-scoring honors. Sisler had an 80 on Tuesday while Johnson closed with an 87.
UC Davis also finished among the top seven teams for the sixth time in seven tournaments in 2008-09 while also posting its third top-five finish.
While the Aggies competed as a team at Oregon, three individuals played at the Sacramento State Invitational at Valley Hi Country Club in Elk Grove. Lauren Dobashi had her second straight round of 4-over 76, tying for second among all players on Tuesday. It is her highest career finish and the second top-10 performance of her UC Davis career.
Eryn Williams tied for 13th after her 79 while Kelsey Fischer tied for 18th after shooting 81.
The Aggies will continue a busy week of golf on Friday when they compete in the California Cup with UCLA, USC and Cal at the Stadium Course at PGA WEST. They will continue to the UC Irvine Anteater Invitational early next week for another event.
