BOULDER, Colo. -- Alice Kim followed her school-record 67 on Monday with a 4-under 68 on Tuesday, tying for second at the Heather Farr Memorial Invitational and helping lead UC Davis to its second straight 2-under 286 at the University of Colorado tournament.

The Aggies, who finished at 10-over 874, placed sixth in the 20-team tournament which was won by Notre Dame. Kim was joined in the top 10 by teammate Chelsea Stelzmiller, who shined with a 71 on Tuesday to tie for eighth at 1-under 215.

Kimberly Johnson cut eight shots off each of her Monday rounds, shooting an impressive 72 to tie for 69th at 16 over. Sophomore Katie Sisler had a 75 over the final 18 holes, tying for 28th at 5 over. Senior Brittany Smith was unable to compete on Tuesday.

The Fighting Irish, who tallied a 6-under 858, posted a five-shot win over Texas Tech, the only other team to finish in the red. Host Colorado was third, nine shots behind Notre Dame, while Colorado State was three back of the Buffaloes.

UC Davis opened the 54-hole tournament with a 14-over 302 but rebounded to post back-to-back rounds of 286. The Aggies were just one shot behind fifth-place Long Beach Sate and nine in front of Georgia State, which took seventh.

Kim had seven birdies in her round, including five in a row from the 10th through 14th holes. Stelzmiller, who had a 69 in the second round, played the front nine holes in 1 under to help key her 71 in the final round. Johnson had four birdies on Tuesday while Sisler had a pair.

Kay Hoey of Long Beach State had her second consecutive 71, ending the tournament at 9-under 207 and winning medalist honors by three strokes over Kim and Oregon's Emily Childs. Kim and Stelzmiller were in a group of 12 players who broke par for the tournament.

UC Davis will return to action on Oct. 13 when it travels to the Price's Give 'Em Five Intercollegiate at New Mexico State.
