2008 UC Davis Foreign Tour Archive

Today was the first full day spent in Paris. It was also game day. The complimentary breakfast was amazing and full of variety from fresh pastries, fruit and crepes to fresh squeezed juice. Around 11 a.m. we had a scheduled bike tour with Fat Tire Bike Tours through Paris. We saw many sites while cruising around on a beach cruiser. Some of the sites included the Arch de Triumph, the Louvre, L'ecole militaire, and many more.

After the bike tour, we returned to the hotel to rest up before our first game against Vanves. We arrived to the gym around 7:30 p.m. to get ready for game time. From the tip it was back and forth. We were always in the lead but could not extend enough to put them away. As the game went on we gained more and more control. Once the fourth quarter rolled around, we started to pull away. When the game had finished we had one win under our belt. The final score: Aggies 93, Vanves 77.
