DAVIS, Calif. - With the annual deadline falling on a holiday weekend in 2008, the last date to submit nominations for the 2008-09 Cal Aggie Athletics Hall of Fame induction class has been extended by one week.

Any interested parties looking to nominate a past Aggie great may do so by downloading and submitting the form below (or its relevant information) to UC Davis Athletics Media Relations. The info may be faxed to 530-754-5674 or emailed to Mark Honbo at mwhonbo@ucdavis.edu.

The last day to submit the nomination form is Friday, December 5. Any additional support materials -- such as letters, news clippings, etc. -- must be received by Friday, December 12. Note: any nomination submitted for the 2007-08 class will automatically be resubmitted for 2008-09, so no new action is necessary for these individuals.

The Hall of Fame selection committee will meet early in the 2009 calendar year, with an announcement of the new induction class expected in March.

Last year's induction class comprised Steve Adelman (track & field), J.T. O'Sullivan (football), Ericka Ruelas (gymnastics), Jennifer Swanson (track & field), Shyamala White (softball) and Dr. Keith Williams (athletics director).
