Price's Give 'Em Five Invitational (Day 1 Results) 
LAS CRUCES, N.M. -- Sophomore Chelsea Stelzmiller carded a 3-over 75 in Tuesday's second round while the UC Davis women's golf team finished with a score of 312 and is in eighth place heading into the final round of the Price's Give 'Em Five Invitational at New Mexico State.
The Aggies are at 42-over 618, just one shot behind seventh-place Hawaii and six back of sixth-place Missouri. Big West Conference member UC Irvine retained the team lead, shooting 302 on Tuesday to take a three-shot advantage over Oklahoma at 19-over. The Sooners had the day's best round, finishing with a 299, the only sub-300 round.
Stelzmiller cut four shots off her opening-round 79 and is tied for 29th at 10-over 154. Sophomore Alice Kim, who opened with a 72 on Monday, had a 78 in the second round but is still near the top of the leaderboard in a tie for 12th at 6-over. Senior Bryana Gregory had a 79 and is tied for 39th, senior Brittany Smith is tied for 49th after an 80, and sophomore Katie Sisler is tied for 75th after shooting 82.
Julia Potter of Missouri posted a Tuesday-low 69 to overtake first-round Jane Chin of UC Irvine for the individual lead. Potter is at 2-under 142 with 18 holes to play while Chin is at par.
The final round will begin with a shotgun start at 6:45 a.m. (PST) on Wednesday.
