DAVIS, Calif. - The reservations deadline for the annual Cal Aggie Athletic Hall of Fame and Student-Athlete Awards Ceremonies on June 2 at Freeborn Hall at UC Davis is fast approaching with a deadline of 3 p.m. on Friday, May 26.

Reservations for the dinner are $40 and can be made by calling the UC Davis Athletics Department at (530) 752-1373.

Five former student-athletes and a former coach are being inducted into the Cal Aggie Athletics Hall of Fame: Tea Austin (swimming), Pete Faeth (soccer), Pat Foster (swimming), Dante Ross (basketball), Allison (Stonbarger) Birdwell (lacrosse) and Marlene Piper (volleyball, coach). Additionally, longtime booster Dick Forbes will be posthumously honored with the Hall of Fame's Special Recognition Award.

Student-athlete awards for the Colby E. "Babe" Slater Award for outstanding male athlete of the year, the Hubert Heitman Award for female athlete of the year, the W.P. Lindley Award for scholar-athlete of the year, and the Lysle Leach and Marya Welch team GPA awards will be announced next week and presented during the evening.
