DAVIS, Calif. - Tuesday's scheduled baseball game between UC Davis and Nevada at Dobbins Stadium has been cancelled due to inclement weather and wet field conditions and will not be made up, it was announced on Tuesday morning.
The game was originally scheduled to be played on Mar. 7 but was postponed by weather at that time as well.
UC Davis will take a 10-12 record into Friday's 6 p.m. matchup at UC Riverside. The game marks the beginning of a three-game series against the Highlanders which will also include 1 p.m. matchups on Saturday and Sunday.
The series at UC Riverside also marks the beginning of a full schedule of games for UC Davis against future Big West Conference teams. The Aggies will officially join the league for the 2008 season.
UC Davis will play its next home game on April 7 at 1 p.m. against Pacific, the first of three-game set against the Tigers.
