DAVIS, Calif. -- Aggie fans will have the opportunity to follow many UC Davis home athletics events with the introduction of live statistics at www.ucdavisaggies.com, beginning with Saturday's football season-opener against South Dakota State.

Gametracker is a real-time stats interface that allows fans to get complete team and individual statistics and other game information in real-time. For football, a complete play-by-play description of the game, drive charts and links to other games offering Gametracker will also be available on the graphical interface which will feature UC Davis schools colors and logos.

Gametracker will also be offered for most women's volleyball matches at home, as well as Aggie men's and women's home basketball games. Other sports will be added at a later date. If a team hosting UC Davis offers Gametracker, it'll be made available at www.ucdavisaggies.com as well. Fans simply need to go the sport's schedule page and click on the link next to the selected game.

"As UC Davis continues to transition to Division I, we want to provide Aggie fans with as good a fan experience as possible when they visit our website," said Mike Robles, Assistant Athletics Director for Media Relations. "Gametracker is a great addition which I'm sure our fans will be excited about."

UC Davis is in the third year of internet partnership with College Sports Online, Inc., the provider of Gametracker.
