DAVIS, Calif. - UC Davis forward Ryan Moore, who led the Aggies to their fourth-straight road win last weekend, has been named the Wilson California Collegiate Athletic Association Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week of January 26-31.
Moore, a junior from Brea, led the Aggies to convincing wins at Cal State Dominguez Hills and Cal State L.A. last week. He scored a game-high 20 points, hitting 8 of 13 shots, and added a game-high eight rebounds and four assists to power UC Davis to a 75-49 win at CSUDH. Moore then scored 12 points and added 3 rebounds and an assist while playing stellar defense in the Ags' 64-38 win at Cal State L.A.
For the week, Moore averaged 16.0 points on 59.1 percent shooting overall (13 for 22), including 71.4 percent from three-point range (5 for 7).
