GRAND FORKS, N.D. - UC Davis earned a pair of All-America finishes in the men's 200-yard backstroke on Saturday, while Elizabeth Glick earned All-America honors with her sixth-place showing in the women's 200 back, as the Aggie men and women finished fifth and sixth, respectively, at the NCAA Division II Championships.

The Aggie men scored 225.50 points in the four-day event, finishing ahead of sixth-place Tampa (Fla.), which had 211. UC Davis continued its streak of top 10 finishes, doing so for the fifth straight year. Drury (Mo.) dethroned defending national champion Cal State Bakersfield to win the men's title with 612 points. Bakersfield was second, followed by host North Dakota in third with 392.50.

Truman State (Mo.) repeated as women's champion, scoring 682 points to easily outdistance Drury, which was second with 410. UC Davis was sixth with 247 points, its highest finish at the NCAA Championships since 1983 when it was fourth.

The Aggie men had four All-America finishes on the final day of racing, highlighted by its showing in the 200 back. Junior Michael Fahy moved to the No.2 position on UC Davis' career leader chart for the event, taking third in 1:50.16, while junior Kyle Wooldridge was fifth in the final in 1:51.18. Their showing marked the first time the Aggies have had two All-Americans in that event in the same year since John Keppeler and Pat Foster accomplished it in 1994.

Senior Matt Davie capped his outstanding Aggie career by adding two more All-America placings. He was eighth in the 1,650 freestyle in 15:55.73, marking the fourth straight year he has finished in the top eight at the national championships in the event.

Davie added his final career All-America finish as the anchor for the 400 free relay team, which was seventh in 3:05.87 in the meet's final event. Kevin Williams led off the race for UC Davis and was followed by Travis Low, Patrick Jacobson and Davie. Davie finished his UC Davis career with 15 All-America honors.

Glick was the lone Aggie to earn a spot in a final on the women's side on Saturday, finishing an impressive sixth in the 200 back in 2:05.73 and earning her first All-America honor in the event. She also swam at nationals in the 200 back as a junior. Abbey Cornell was 13th in the 200 back for UC Davis on Saturday, finishing in 2:07.58.

Also for UC Davis on the final day, Vanessa Sallee was 11th in the 200 breaststroke in 2:24.78, Jennifer MacDonald was 10th in the 3-meter diving competition with 338.15 points and the 400 free relay team of Sallee, Jessica Pietrzyk, Glick and Yuka Kobayashi was 11th in 3:33.63.
