DAVIS, Calif. -- After completing the rigors of final examination, UC Davis softball launches the Big West Conference portion of its season with a three-game road series at Cal State Fullerton on Saturday and Sunday. The Aggies and Titans square off for a doubleheader at 1 p.m. on Saturday, then wraps the set on Sunday for a noon first pitch.

• UC Davis competes in its first conference game since the 2019 season, as the 2020 slate was halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic one week before league play last spring.
• Second-year freshman Taylor Fitzgerald led the Aggies at the Bulldog Classic, posting a 1.91 ERA and a .214 opposing batting average in two starts.
